Travel
If you're traveling in for the wedding, welcome to Atlanta! We're so excited to have you here.
We've put together some information to make getting to Atlanta, getting around, finding a place to stay, and figuring out what to do while you're here a little easier.
Getting here and getting around
Airport
Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) is Atlanta’s main airport and one of the busiest airports in the world, so there are plenty of flight options from just about anywhere.
Transportation
While there are plenty of walkable pockets around the city, Atlanta is, at its heart, a very driving-centric city. And fair warning: the traffic is not for the faint of heart!
If you’re not planning to rent a car, Uber, Lyft, and Waymo are all readily available and are probably your best bet for getting around.
MARTA is Atlanta’s public transit system and includes both trains and buses. It’s a convenient and affordable option for getting to and from the airport and traveling to certain parts of the city, though it won’t get you everywhere.
Where to stay
Where to stay
Our venue, Callanwolde Fine Arts Center, is located in the charming Druid Hills neighborhood. We recommend finding a hotel or Airbnb nearby to make getting to and from the wedding as easy as possible!
The closest neighborhoods include Old Fourth Ward, Inman Park, and Poncey-Highland, with Midtown also just a short drive away.
Below are a few nearby hotels and neighborhoods we recommend for your stay.
FORTH is one of our top recommendations for the weekend! Located in Old Fourth Ward, the hotel sits right on the Atlanta BeltLine, a popular walking and biking path that connects some of our favorite neighborhoods around the city.
There are tons of restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and things to do within walking distance, making it a great home base if you want to explore Atlanta while you're here. It's also a convenient spot for getting around the city and an easy rideshare to the wedding venue.
Bonus: This is where we expect many of our guests to be staying, so you'll likely run into some familiar faces throughout the weekend!

The FORTH Hotel
Hotel Clermont is a historic Atlanta landmark in the Poncey-Highland neighborhood. The hotel has a fun, lively atmosphere, with a rooftop bar offering great city views, plus restaurants and bars right downstairs. If you’re looking for a hotel with a little more character, this one’s for you.
It’s also a great home base for exploring Atlanta, with restaurants, coffee shops, bars, and local spots all around the neighborhood. The Atlanta BeltLine is nearby, making it easy to walk or bike to even more of the city.
Hotel Clermont
For something a little more boutique and laid-back, the Wylie Hotel is a great option. Located in Old Fourth Ward on Ponce de Leon Avenue, the hotel is close to Ponce City Market, the Atlanta BeltLine, and plenty of restaurants, bars, and coffee shops.
The Wylie has a more intimate, neighborhood feel while still putting you close to plenty of things to do. It’s a great option if you want to be in the middle of Atlanta without quite as much of the hustle and bustle of some of the other hotels.
